Valentine’s Day Red Velvet Smoothie and No-Bake Cookies x Philosophie

Red Velvet Smoothie
I’m in love with the Blenderist’s dreamy, cake-like smoothie created with avocado and beet! While whipping it up at home, I swapped the cocoa powder for Philosophie Cacao Magic. On top of adding that decadent chocolatey goodness, this nourishing and energizing blend of organic cacao, cacao nibs, reishi mushroom, maca, chia seeds, hemp protein, and vanilla is extremely high in antioxidants and magnesium.

Gather This:

  • 2 cups coconut milk, almond milk, or milk of choice
  • 2 cups of ice cubes
  • ½ avocado
  • ½ small frozen beet*
  • ¼ teaspoon vanilla
  • 18 drops stevia or 2 tablespoons of granular sweetener of choice

Do This:

Add all ingredients to a high-speed blender and blend until creamy and smooth.

If you have a weak blender, you may want to boil your beet, and then freeze before blending. Pour into a glass, add your favorite superfood toppings, and enjoy!

Gather This:
1 cup creamy peanut butter or almond butter
1/2 cup coconut oil
2 teaspoon vanilla
2 cups old-fashioned oats
1/2 teaspoon salt
Do This:
In medium double boiler, combine honey, peanut butter, coconut oil, and Cacao Magic. Heat slowly and stir until everything is melted and well combined. Heat until it slightly boils, then remove from heat and add remaining ingredients. Stir thoroughly until oats are evenly covered with chocolate mixture. Drop spoonfuls onto wax paper or parchment paper. Let cool. If they are too gooey, you can add more oats or also store in the fridge, which is what we like to do! Enjoy!
